Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Ramon A. Santisteban Rivera is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Assertion IQ and a recognized leader in regulatory compliance, process validation, occupational health and safety management, and operational excellence within highly regulated industries.
With more than 30 years of experience in pharmaceutical and life sciences operations, Ramon has built a career focused on strengthening quality systems, process controls, and compliance frameworks across complex manufacturing environments. He is a certified Lead Auditor in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 and has extensive expertise in commissioning, qualification, and validation (C&Q).
Ramon is widely respected for his ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into practical, scalable business solutions that improve operational performance while maintaining rigorous compliance standards.
At Assertion IQ, Ramon leads the company’s strategic vision and technical direction, developing technology and data-driven platforms that help organizations manage regulatory risk, strengthen audit readiness, and improve enterprise quality and compliance programs.

Brian Waltrip
Chief Financial Officer
Brian Waltrip is an accomplished executive with decades of leadership experience spanning finance, operations, hospitality, and large-scale organizational transformation. His career combines senior financial leadership with deep operational expertise across multi-entity organizations and complex operating environments.
Brian is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Trip Capital Group, where he leads development, construction, hospitality operations, and investment initiatives across multiple real estate and operating platforms. Throughout his career, he has overseen multiproperty portfolios, national operations, and large development projects while helping organizations strengthen operational performance and financial discipline.
Brian has served in an executive leadership capacity, overseeing finance and accounting for large national organizations. In these positions, he has led large-scale restructurings, enterprise system implementations, financial reporting modernization, and operational turnarounds that strengthened performance and enhanced long-term enterprise value.
As CFO of Assertion IQ, Brian focuses on building the company’s financial foundation, aligning governance with operational execution, and implementing systems that enable data-driven decision-making and scalable growth.

He brings a strong background in SaaS operations, process optimization and project execution, enabling clients to leverage digital safety and compliance technologies that elevate operational reliability and regulatory preparedness.
With deep experience in business development, operational strategy and technology-enabled process improvement, Rene excels at translating complex platform capabilities into clear business outcomes.
